Extortion from American Discount Web hosting (New Owners)
I waited a while before I posted this but I just noticed that it was still marked private.
I went from paying $54.00 every 3 months ($216 per year) to then wanting me to prepaying $258.00 for the year. Then they turned on the thumbscrews and wanted to put the price at $131.00 every three months.. To say the least I have moved my sites off of ADW.. Thanks Go Daddy..
The 3 databases have been there long before she looked the other day..

to be fair and pay for the time used since 3-22-08. Since I cannot pay by

willing to pay the 71.00 dollars to get my databases back and save me some
work. I will not pay 131.00.. They are not worth that to me..

The last time I looked at your account, you had one database on it. When I
went to request that a backup be done for your database, I was asked which one and found that you have 3. These cost us $10 per month and that is what I charge you for each database. As a matter of fact, I get charged an additional $20 set up fee for each database that you have not been charged for.
The Silver hosting is still $6.90 per month for a minimum of 3 months for each domain.

Our minimum term is 3 months. Considering that we, nor the previous
owner, has any record of you paying since 3/22/2004, and the fact that you
have been reminded that your account is over due for almost a month now, it is my
judgement that you do not intend to pay and that it is prudent that
I suspend your accounts until payment is remitted in the amount of $71.40 for 3
months of service plus a database. After payment has been made, you will be
given a copy of your database and we can then discuss whether or not you
are going to continue with our services and what kind of service that will be.
